I wanted to be an ex-lawyer. So I wrote an action-adventure novel, most of it at Bongo Java. It didnt sell. Im still a lawyer. But I did get my kids one of those Ozymandias bricks out front, something for them to remember me by once the caffeine gives out. I also got my brothers kids a brick when his family moved here from Chicago. It reads, Harriet and Oscar - Windy to Music City. Theyve since returned to the wind.

Story:
I started out working at Fido in April of 3. The counter staff mgr at the time was Tracey and Im still not sure why she hired me. I had no experience and I was sooo young. I guess she saw the barista potential within or maybe she was desperate for help... I stayed at Fido albeit on and off for the majority of the next 3 years. After trying out a couple other cafes in town Cafe Coco, Portland Brew I came back, only to Bongo Java. I worked at Bongo for about 18 months before moving to Indiana, where I now live. While I was working at Bongo I won the 7 Barista Competition thanks Carolyn! I can honestly say that every single soul I know in Nashville w/the exception of my Mom I met some way or another thru my jobs at Bongo World, including my husband and my dog. I would like to take this chance to thank Bob for giving me my second and third chances yes, I quit that many times. I really want to express how much Bongo as a company has affected my life - I learned a lot about myself thru my job, I met my husband thru a former Fido co-worker, I started teaching yoga because of Gillie at Fido, I learned to care about the art of coffee thru Tom I never confused you with George, and so many, many, many more things that I cant possibly list here. I love you Bongo World!
